Identity verification (KYC) confirms who owns the account. It protects you and your customers and is required by regulations for some activity.
When it is needed
- For everyday use it is recommended, and your profile shows how important it is for your account.
- It becomes required for some actions, for example moving to the highest plan or reaching a high payment volume.
How to verify
- Open Profile and go to the verification section.
- Upload a clear photo of the front and the back of your national ID or passport page.
- Upload a selfie of you holding the document.
- Send the request and wait for the review.
The statuses
- Pending — your documents are being reviewed.
- Verified — your account is verified. You will also see a notification.
- Rejected — the reason is shown. Correct it and send the documents again.
Photo tips
- All four corners of the document visible, with no glare.
- Text readable and not cropped.
- Your face clearly visible in the selfie.
